Hi everyone and welcome to my page! My name is Sam, one of the wonderful co-authors of this awesome blog. I’m a dietetic intern at the Napa State Hospital, a Dietetic Technician Registered, a graduate from CSU- Sacramento, and best of all, a lover of food! I’m very lucky to come from a family filled with a multitude of ethnicities that has taught me to embrace all of our cultural differences. Although I haven’t been able to physically travel to many parts of the world just yet, I enjoy learning more about what these places and cultures have to offer through exploring the world of food.

Therefore, I’ll be taking on a global approach and focusing on nutrition around the world. Food is an important part of every culture and I’m excited to share what each of these cultures has to offer. I’ll specifically be delving into the cuisines of Peru, Brazil, Nicaragua, and the Philippines. I'm so excited for you to take this journey with me and dive into the world of food. Enjoy!
